I think he's just being sarcastic. At least I hope he is.

My sentiments exactly. My APU is down and as a result, I idle every night - period, end of discussion. I want the AC and air movement.
I look at it this way. A 10 hour period is mandated for us, during which we are to get well rested enough to safely drive a 50k to 80k rig. I'm not about to have someone try to tell me that a driver that is wrestling through the night because they are sweating in their bunk or shivering because it is cold as heck is going to be alert and well rested. This is the counter-argument when I get into anti-idle conversations, as well. They expect us to be well rested and capable of handling 40 tons of steel in close proximity to morons who are not paying attention and texting / taking selfies while they are driving their soccer-mom mobiles to their hair appointments - and the enviro-nazis never talk about what enables one to be 'well rested'. Screw them all and their backward logic. They get outraged at us, but if their favorite ice cream and oreos aren't on the shelf tomorrow, they will have a melt-down.Mother Trucking Princess Thanks this. -
####. I can't remember the last time I turn this mother####er off.
Hey company, #### you!austinmike and Mother Trucking Princess Thank this. -
This princess became a trucker to make green backs & enjoy seeing some of the beautiful scenery this country has to offer. I did not sign up to be disrespected or forced into complying with a law that goes against my level of general living comfort. Sleeping in 90 plus degrees in an enclosed "tomb" and one is expected to be well rested & ready to go the next shift? You can "Just Wow" yourself (and go grow a new chest pube) someplace else if you think I am expecting too much. One can not sleep well let alone breathe adequately in that kind of heat. I do not think I am being unreasonable or being disrespectful to the idling laws. It is the stupid idling laws that are being unreasonable and that are blatantly disregarding that there is a human inside of these trucks. I'm not sorry if you disagree, because we are not robots and I refuse to live like one. No offense to you, but do not comment on my comments/posts unless you decide to man up and grow some hair on your bald nut sack and start standing up for the rest of us truckers. Just because you have decided to lay down, suck it up and take it Does NOT mean the rest of us are ok with it, the idle laws or with your decision to do so. In fact you make winning this battle harder for the rest of us. In the game of war that makes you princesses foe. Btw, this blonde without any hair on my chest has bigger balls right now tucked inside of my Victoria's Secret bra. Copy that? Lol
OVER & OUT.

If he's being sarcastic that's one thing, but if not.... princess is not a happy camper! Lol I don't know of anyone that is happy or content sweating to death in an enclosed space. Maybe he's so used to it that he doesn't know the difference between comfort & suffering anymore? ...or maybe he's a company ### kisser?
