Being given a CB. What do I have?

    Hey, my dad gave me a Galaxy 919, tuned or wutever, with a 100 watt booster he say on the back? 2 Viper coiled antennas with twin grey coaxes and some fancy trucker mic. Getting installed Monday. He wants me to have a cb. I know ABSOLUTELY nothing about them and dont even use one. Wut do i have?

    This is a pretty good setup. You should be doing 10-15 miles with this setup. I would not run both antennas just one, unless you can't get the swr down low on a fiberglass truck then you might have to run two. And don't use two 18' pieces of 50 ohm coax with a T fitting. Use a cophase coax if you run both antennas.
