Well, you'll certainly always have a job hauling garbage. There's a couple landfills in the Milwaukee area that are so big, they're going to have snow on them in July. There's trash hauling, good place to start, or deal with the other end, food service, beverage hauling, both very labor intensive, but the pay is ok, and you'll get a lot of experience driving. Dump truck, or tanker, like gas, but that takes some prior experience, or the job I liked the most, a line haul driver for a freight company ( go to basically the same place every day (or night) switch trailers, and come back). Or there's p&d, pickup and delivery for freight outfits. EVERYBODY is looking for drivers, but it may require schooling, which isn't really a bad thing, but costly. Good luck.

    KFMinn Thanks this.

I'm very fortunate being a veteran and living in a very military friendly city in the fact that many colleges around here accept education benefits for training and the one I am going to offers a grant so everything is covered and I don't have to use any education benefits. The school claims they have a job board with over 50 jobs right now and that I'll have no problem finding a job right after graduation (but I'm skeptical as usual). Thanks for all of the insight.
