No it's misplaced....and btw im not anti eagle....I haven't left right? So stop saying it...I just believe there has been big big errors and many people have gotten hurt by a few men's unreached goals....failure to effectively communicate Eagles model, goals and plans(beyond growing to 1000 trucks) to there revenue generators, and they certainly don't appreciate the contractors, and how ops operates in my experience.....I feel ripped off,yet I see the potential.....I also see a lot of arrogance and greed amongst drivers and management....I don't hate eagle, not at all...I hate how they so far have operated and valued there contractors....and it's sad...coz it could be so much better....bigrob301 Thanks this.

Whatever turns you on man,lol.....mines book marked to the swift thread...I feel like I'm cheating on them,lol.....

I literally have no excuse for doing it that way either. I go to Google, type in "eag" and it auto completes, search and the third link down is this forum. It has to be the least efficient way I do anything.fr8monkey Thanks this.

There's alot there but the reason(except maybe to get my reefer) I don't return to the Midwest is just look at the rates out of california to the northwest.....or San Diego to arizona or Nevada, every single load from south to north is a winner! So again it's pure nonsense for eagle to try to control there contractors and saying it's only in the Midwest where u can find rates, look in texas too...intrastate rates, here's an interesting fact if u pick up and deliver in Texas and a few other states U need a intrastate license .....does eagle have that license? It better,it's what I pay my 25% for....but I never see it in my permit book..?

Ok EagleOps here is a serious question for ya.
I was running from Vegas to NC and pulled it to the Oklahoma POE. DOT looks over my paperwork, bills, IFTA, then asks for my Lease paperwork. Hand it to him. Quality lease is in order, Eagle lease is in order. But then Mr. DOT wants to see my Celadon to Eagle lease agreement. I'm like WTF, Mr DOT says yep need a lease from Celadon to Eagle. I ask why??? DOT points to my truck registration and says see on your registration is says CELADON owns the truck so need a lease from Celadon to Eagle.
Well F Me.... So Mr DOT says need a Bond of $125 or the truck does not more. run a express code request and hand DOT a comm check. He hands me my paperwork and a Summons to Eagle Logistics (not me).
Sent everything in with trip sheet. did an expense request on Qualcomm ect ect ect. told my OM, sent a rebuttal to Payroll when they deducted it from my pay..
Now its going on 3 weeks and still haven't recovered MY MONEY from Eagle.
What do you think I should do? made my requests, notified payroll, OM, did my rebuttal. and still no action on it -
I'm not rooting for anybody to fail can't you read all these stories of drivers loosing everything in a lease deal. The problem in today's drivers is they all want to be owner operators but don't want to save up enough money to be able to buy their trucks they want no money down no credit check and walk away lease. It's time drivers get with the program about how bad leasing is.producelove85 Thanks this.

Awww isnt that cute, If I can stop one driver from signing on with a bs company that is screwing drivers then i feel like i did my job trying to educate naive drivers been around too long.

What happened to keitht1967 l/p is great right?

It can and is successful in many cases...I completed a lease before with swift, was it easy? No it wasn't....it depends the terms and stipulations of the company...some are good some aren't...I don't feel Eagles is particularly good for the contractor, none the less I signed up....it's not the lease that's the problem...the terms are fine...it's getting the freight at a high enough rate to benefit the contractor and the company....I wadnt ready for that becoz I had done a mileage based lease before..yeah it's a huge error on my part, none the less im surviving it,others haven't been so lucky and why I try to warn the naive to stay away! If u have experience with brokered freight, lease purchase ,or a paid off truck...u can probably do ok here...but our rates from brokers are lower than other places and really no existing customer freight...it's really a small base of customer freight...not nearly enough to go around...At all!
