Could have the lite model truck. One fuel tank no passenger seat small sleeper no cabinets.
-
That is what I have.
But I'm certain he was referring to me saying 'gas' instead of 'diesel' or 'fuel'truckon Thanks this. -
Heavy haul truck. For us anyway. Water ,beer etc
Obetz is/was trying to put together a deal with Bud I think. Havent heard anything beyond trying. -
At least you guys understand. lol
Had been talking to other drivers at drop lots and truck stops and they couldn't comprehend the truck only having one fuel tank. Few of them even checked the passenger side to see for themselves.
OTR sucks with only one fuel tank. Gotta plan accordingly so I can be near a pilot or flying j when I figure I'll need fuel. -
I talked to a female driver that had one of those trucks. She's on a dedicated run hauling 48,000# water loads.
-
Bulk of my loads so far have been paper rolls or paper products.
-
I know that the Portland OC started up a Bud dedicated account not too long ago and they have a bunch of white full sleeper cascadias that are set up light like that as well.
-
I know this feeling. I was out of the Dallas OC for awhile and they gave me a "southern lightweight" Cascadia.
They were putting me on 1000+ mile runs out to the west or from north to south and then expecting me to follow my fuel solutions which are setup for a truck with 2 fuel tanks.
For some reason my DBL at the time couldn't understand that I had 1 fuel tank. He kept messaging me and telling me to follow fuel solutions and to stop fueling at random Pilot/Flying J's. Yeah right lol.
When I finally got them to switch me to a regular Cascadia I spent the next month doing short runs around the northeast......truckon Thanks this. -
their software cant differentiate between the different truck configurations. I had a single tank daycab, same deal as you both experienced.
its laughable. the system ignores what your state your fuel level is. Most often the solution has me fueling within 30 miles of delivery. Next load has me fueling to start. Suggesting 100 or more gallons. Ummmm, I am still full!!!!! Guess those tank sensors were money well spent!!! Like the trailer tracking was too.91B20H8 Thanks this.
