18-wheeler runs into Texarkana bridge

    I recall one bridge were instead of raising they just put spikes. Problem solved...

    I seem to recall a spot in PA a few years back where they repaved the road under a rail bridge, but instead of grading it down they just added a layer of asphalt on top. Now that 13'8" bridge became 13' and they didn't remeasure the clearance or even change the sign for almost 6 months. Seems to me there were several lawsuits over that, but I don't remember exactly where.

    There's a railroad under pass about 30 miles south of us that's been done that way too.
