But what's the relay charge for.
They do absolutely nothing extra and it's not like they pay me the full rate then deduct the 400.
I think it would be fair if it went. Oh ways such as if you pick a load then they change it to a relay they pay us an extra 400 for the relay.
I think I'm high on the site of the w900 here to be talking common decency LOL

Besides we can't rent another truck per SNI because there's no elogs or qualcomm.
-
I know paying that 400 really sucks on top of being broken down. But if you look at it from a trucking companies perspective, it cost them more than the miles to finish the run. I know this doesn't apply in this case, but It's also is an incentive for drivers to keep their trucks in better repair.
Hope you can get it on the road soon. -
If you can or could of found someone else, another choice driver to take it and work out something with them.. There is no rely fee.. Yes some sort of fee but not the 400.
-
Thanks guys and gals.
It's no big deal it's part of this game we play called trucking.
My truck is a 2016 and it's emissions related so not sure what more I could do than drive a new truck.
I will say this the next one I buy WILL BE A GLIDER W900.
No more emissions stuff if I can help it.PoleCrusher, Home_on_wheels and 91B20H8 Thank this. -

That only company trucks get it and ics get whatever the % is left on the load...... Says a lot.
If they ever ask you to rescue a load say $400 dollars or bust.PoleCrusher Thanks this. -
as far as keeping your truck and repair in good shape, you can do everything in the world and keep a truck while maintain they're still always that chance is going to break down no matter what you doPoleCrusher and Home_on_wheels Thank this.

OK I have to say that's bull snot.
Absolutely no reason for them to charge you for a company relay if you still might be able to deliver on time.
Did they post it on the board to see if an IC would take it? They're supposed to do that first, if they didn't I'd raise heck. -
I can understand why they charge 400. They are sending a company truck to come get our load that we couldn't deliver, and that company truck could have been pulling another load. And there's no telling how far they had to deadhead that company truck
Hegemeister Thanks this.
