Automated Manuals or Manuals?

    Which do most prefer, automated manual or regular manual? To be honest, I would prefer an automated manual so I can concentrate on driving.

    I agree 100%. A manual forces you to pay attention not just to your driving but also to what the truck and engine are doing at that moment. A lot of times a dropped gear isn't so much bad technique as it is a momentary lapse of attention to these things.

    I prefer the better paying company. Whatever trans they have, I'll drive with a smile as long as my checks look like they should.
