I wasn't actually being serious, just giving the guy a hard time.

 

I could make 36k a year with a push mower.

 

probably, but I'm a lazy truck driver so I'd get a good rider.

 

Grote led's have a 10 year warranty. Stop by a dealer and get a new one.

 

I drive boom trucks and derrick rigs full of big heavy tools, and sometimes an overloaded gooseneck full of pipe. I do it for less than 36k/yr... Hence my interest in the trucking industry.

 

Ahh. That explains a lot. Drivers for construction companies are pretty much the low man on the totem pole. It's unskilled labor. In the trucking industry 50k is basically the low end at any company outside of the mega starter companies.

 

It gets worse, spyder... I'm the wrench puller too... the wrenches are 4ft long. We break wrenches and sledgehammers on a regular basis. This is young man's work and I'm not getting younger. A couple guys almost got killed last week. I don't need to be around for that.
