I'm still thinking about it. I left JB Hunt Intermodal for a sweet government job, but it's really boring. Plus, last time I talked to the IC Choice recruiter, she said my 12 years experience didn't really count because my last 2 years wasn't technically OTR and the 8 years before that I was either in the Army, or working for them as a civilian. Prior to that I did about a year OTR/Regional with Swift. She asked if I wanted to do OTR as a company driver and I didn't really want to because I was already a company driver with JBI and it wasn't too bad. I'm still on the fence though.

So, first of all, I want to thank FW publicly for the great job he'd done. I feel bad that he don't write no more, but I understand. I probably would have done the same if I had all the idiots taking your words out of contest, and criticizing everything you said. You did a good job enlightining those of us that still have half a brain and did understand your message. There is no perfect trucking company, they are made of people, but I least you shared your experience and did your best to help others. Those that did not want you to share did it out of ignorance, but they lost and you still won. I thank you for your willingness to help others and your courage to fight ignorance. I will encourage you to continue on your path. Do not let the idiots win...
Kirotito Thanks this. -
Those of us who didn't Want him to share as he was sharing was not out of Ignorance, as your response was out of ignorance it was because we KNEW SNI was watching the thread we KNEW that some idiots would only read what he said and come onboard and fail then bad mouth the program. We knew that with the way he was posting it was a recruiting thread and we knew that it wouldn't last and then somebody would blame us.
I don't care one way or the other I post because I use it as an outlet to voice frustration and praise.
Nobody stopped FW from posting he made that choice once he feared SNI firing him as they did Stevep1977.Hegemeister, PoleCrusher, FatDaddy and 2 others Thank this. -
No no no. He stopped because it was getting negative in general. Just a coincidence that it started after steve shared his experience.PoleCrusher and TennMan Thank this.

I thought technically by definition otr means simply driving at least 150 miles or more from your operating terminal. Us dedicated and intermodel drivers typically drive up to 200-250 miles from our terminals. If im wrong please correct me cuz i thought that was how it worked to be considered otr experience. This might be a road block for me as well trying to get into choice..anyone shed some light it would b apreciated..thanks
