All I know for sure is that truckers never ever lie.

 

I have a dedicated run. I do 3375 miles a week. Every week. Im on an ELD. Its no problem. Last year ran 170,000 miles. Ive been on the same run for 4 yrs.

 

You're my hero. They won't give you vacation after 4 years bud?

Did dedicated 48X a year Mtl-DFW 3600 all legal, was leaving Mtl 0500 monday am and i was back home sat early morning.

Have done it for 10+ years & i am no hero other than for my little girl!!

 

So while your " relieved from duty" while waiting to load/unload,are you free to leave your trk and/or the shipper/ recievers' property to pursue your one interests or do you have to "jump" back on duty as soon as your trailer is ready?

 

It can be done even in a 60 mph trk in a 7 day period but not feasible week after week.

 

Well then you are my hero too. I'd hate to drive that many miles to earn a check.

 

Yes i get vacation. I have only taken ten days in 4 yrs. I run Monday night through Friday night. Home every day.

 

Who needs vacation anyway? We'll have plenty of time off when we're dead.
