max legal miles

I've done 3800 miles.

 

Max I ever got paid for solo in a week was 6400 in one week called I had a load miss Payroll cutoff time for the week before. Max as a Team was in Jan of 98 my father and I cranked it up to 37 Grand for the Month before being Ordered HOME with 3 days left in the month in 28 days we did an average of 1300 miles a Day for the pair of us helped we could again run the Speed Limits and had D&H at both ends of the runs.

 

I've done 3801

 

start in Nebraska and average way over that by the time you get through Wyoming and into Utah

 

Thats why l need two books,keep running out of hours at the dock..lol

 

Maybe I don't want to know, but... what is that chain stirrup thingamajig used for?

 

For chaining her down after she takes a swing with that riding crop.

 

(i).even though your in your sleeper are you not still sitting at the dock WAITING to load/unload? ..Off-duty is time spent at the house or the trk at the terminal and your far from it doing (your) kind of activites..you probably just go off-duty or sleeper to "save" hours to run,thats one way to put in free time for the company..Not this driver,l'm in your truck,l'm on duty and l expected to be paid for ALL spent in said trk..

 

You've got one rule that says all time at the dock needs to be on duty
You've got another rule that says all time resting in a CMV needs to be logged OFF or SB

Unless I'm unloading myself, I'm off duty. If I hire someone else to unload my freight (lumpers, natch), I can hardly be considered to be working while the truck is being unloaded. Especially if I am in the sleeper with my feet up, watching TV. Log it as you do it, the man said.
