The starter schools are often the bottom scrapers as companies go. Just put in your time and find something better after a year. Schneider gets the most good press of the starters, but they may be really picky. Good luck if you get them. I think Roehl trains too.
After you get in some time, more doors should open. CFI, now Conway Truckload, is pretty good for the "few months experience" group. -
how much home time to Schneider gives you?
-
I wouldn't know. I never worked for them. Most of these companies give you a day off for every 5-7 days out, in groups of 11 to 14 days. Schneider wouldn't take me. I wasn't their type it seemed.

But don't be looking for hometime during the training cycle. -
oh ok the company that my brother worked for he left out every monday amd came back home every friday

If you're looking to have weekends and nights off you're looking at the wrong field. You want to know the good companies, that's easy. The ones that have no recruiters and have drivers that retire good luck. -
I was going to say who told you Schneider was a bad starting/training company................

But when you compare them with a gig like your brother has ............with every weekend off and 5 straight days on............ I guess nothing is going to look too good to you....
Btw..... Welcome!!

Why don't you apply with that company?
Have you asked for your brother for his suggestions?
