That is so true I went with Tango and got a truck out of the last 100 days it was down for the same repair 38 days I switched to Eagle and they promised the moon but was a pack of lies. quality said pick another truck so I did got the lone star and just broke even for 2 mos. I gave it back. My advise is stay away from any quality program.

So you went and got a lonestar for $650 a week plus insurance and couldn't make it so it's quality's fault? How about not getting a truck that costs $2500 a month. If you get an older and cheaper truck then it can be very beneficial. Don't go in there and try to get a brand new truck.

I did the older truck first they would not fix it under their 30-45 day fix any thing and no its not qualitys fault it is the fault of Eagle which is a celadon / quality co. they promised high dollar freight and lots of miles which was not a true statement for the van side.

Yes I should have thought it through more but in my defense I pulled all the loads they gave me On time and I asked for more miles to no avail

I'm picking up a truck from these guys, went in Monday and said yes to oapproved to take truck .... Here's the thing with them, they all need work done before picking em up usually. Make sure you go over the trucks with a fine tooth comb and find one that works for you. I wont be able to pick mine up for 1-3 weeks while freightliner is fixing a fuel valve, until then, I am out of work.

But here's the thing, they fix these trucks before you take em home free before you sign the paperwork. You tell them what to fix and its done. They also come with a warranty for repair at a dealer where you live, free.

Their main trucks are international prostars with the maxcrap motors. They do have alot of old internationals 9200-9400 and freightliner Columbia's if youre into old and ugly that most companies wont approve. The pete's and KW's go real fast. The largest yard is in Dallas, tx but the main office is in Indy. If you go to indy, it takes longer due to the back up in the shops.

I saw alot of trucks for 50k at the dealer and they all had 500-600k on em that were 2006-2008. Quality trucks have between 200k-500k usually and are 2009 and newer unless you get approval for older through your company. Your company co-signs the lease so they have the final say.
It is a walk away, but IF you get fired, you lose the truck, IF you quit, you lose the truck. Unless you transfer to one of the other companies they are partnered with. They will work with you.

Their prices are set at weekly payments;
they are based on year, not mileage or options.
2009 $360 x 156 weeks
2010 $360 x 208 weeks
2011 $360 x 260 weeks
2012 ??? x 260 weeks
2013 $450 x 260 weeks
The min payment is 360, can be set at 2 years, 2.5 years, 3- 4 -5 years depending on year of the truck.

If you dont work that week, the truck is broke down and at shop, ect, you dont pay that week and just extends the lease to the next week.

But here is how you need to think about this.
If you have under an 800 credit score you will be paying 30%+ interest on anything you buy. Ive seen 50% interest from ryder for 3 years on 500s credit score with 20% down.

Just for reference;
I picked up a 11 cascadia with 330k on it, my payment is $360 x 260 = $93k in 5 years OR $65k at 30% interest..
Dealers want $58k for one with 700k, $65k for 500k, $70k for 400k, $75k for 300k miles.

The dealer does not include a repair warranty. I cant walk away from the loan. I don't have anything invested into the truck other than a weekly rental payment- which is still half of what you would pay for a ryder or penske rental. You also run under your own authority and make more than company drivers. No ###### boss telling you, you cant idle in 100* humid nights for a/c. You can refuse runs to NYC as a O/O. You only pay for the maintenance cost, tires, oil ect... In 2 years if I want a different newer truck, I can trade it in (unless you run it into the ground) but your payment clock starts over.

IF you make it to the end of your lease, the truck is yours and you have some of your investment back. It is still tax deductible.

You can not run under you own numbers with a QC truck i had one since march you have to lease truck under a approve carrie or the carrie has to get appr

i have to disagree with you on them not fixing a truck from me to other drivers on the road with a QC truck the fix any problem you bring to there attention and let you take to any shop to do so as long as its in there 30 days not no 45 days thats why you may have turn down they have never did 30 to 45 day fix anything only 30 and ####. QC gave me two brand new steer tires for free and i was had my truck 7months so buddy i dont know to say but QC is on there #### may charge a lot on the and with interest in all but #### you dont paying anything up front the dont check your credit and #### dont like who you running under mover your truck cant beat that #### i run under a sorry ### company PTL and still bring home 2100 after all deductions and fuel

Main reason i went new. Cost me more but i know chances are i wont be breaking down all the time and when i do its warrenty work at international or cummins instead of 3 weeks at quality for them to fix a 3 hr labor job

I would like to go new also but with such high fixed cost im afraid to trust any company booking freight for me when they have the opportunity to short my miles and get a very good used truck back
