I intend to check with Sheridan, I actually went to school with them in 1995 when they were known as McFatter and based in Davie at the NOVA campus. They did have refreshers then, but of course a lot can change.

I will get TWIC as I don't think that is tied to your license/state and I already have doubles and tanker. I fully intend to get Hazmat again (gave it up when they introduced background checks), but just don't want to pay twice for it.

If you want hazmat/tankers, CTL Transportation has CDL school right there in Florida. I think they provide meals and lodging.
