Spitting gears above your head like a boss!

Some people feel the entire industry revolves around driving a detuned, anemic fleet truck at 60 mph, living in a box stuck at a grocery warehouse,taking what Kevin Rutherford says as gospel and moving cheap freight chasing miles getting peanuts for pay. If you tell them that that's not the majority, they think you're lying. It's what they know. It's what they feel 'safe' with.

Some of us actually enjoy the job. Some of us actually make money. Some of us are having a good time. I look at trucks. I like to see how drivers set their trucks up. I don't watch TV, and the only thing I do in a truck is drive and sleep, so I prefer a small sleeper. If someone likes a big house sleeper, I'm not going to say anything negative to him. Those big house guys have pride in that ride.

Hey man my fun stick is short but I have a shift stick that can touch the top of my cab,,,,, that makes me cool right???? Prolem is I can't down shift, but I'm really cool don't you think. It's a 80k rig I don't need to look cool I'm already god only no one knows it, cause no one cares.

 

The way I see it, all these little Hondas and other imports have these short throw shifters, so you might as well have a long throw shifter for the big truck, right?

 

I bet Ya a dollar to a donut if you offered him a $1000.00 to downshift every gear he couldn't do it! Up shifting is easy, downshifting is where the art of shifting comes into play. And this video here just shows a big toy.
