    I wouldn't say that.

All of the anti-radar and laser countermeasures I have seen marketed are snake oil.

Pointing radar at radar (the kind used by law enforcement) will result in a deadlock or jam, but that is illegal.

I emphathise with you Mr Trooper i had friends in the Fire Dept and they would always say how everyone looked up to a Fireman however the poor police officer gets the bum rap. Everyone wants to rubbish the police but yet when their in trouble who do they turn too? I personally have never had issues with the police i mean i'm not innocent either i've had my share of speeding tickets the difference is i don't blame others for my mistakes its quite simple "you do the crime you do the time" I think of it this way while there are some police perhaps that have been corrupt and given the decent ones a bad name if there was no police out there at all think of all the chaos that would happen.

Why would you need to jam a radar signal? Is it not enough to simply detect it and therefore, avoid the ticket altogether?

Detection isn't fool proof. As pointed out previously - the "instant on" feature is problematic for detection.
You cannot legally interfere with or "jam" police radar anyway, so that isn't practically an option.

You can detect "instant on" when the operator hits the traffic ahead of you.

    That's what makes sense, anyway.

I never cared if I could be gotten on radar I never stopped for you guys anyway. Back before I started trucking the last sportbike I had was a gsxr 1000 as my only transportation. It was common for me to be out on a ride and be doing 2nd 3rd and 4th gear pulls on the bike just having fun and then come up over the next hill at 160mph and there's trooper siting there in the median ruining my fun. In fact the only reason why I was able to get a job in trucking is because I ran from so many tickets for so many years that I had clean record. I miss frustrating the heck out of you guys and then ditching you trooper it was some of the most fun I've ever had on two wheels. But nowadays I really enjoy trucking so I've cleaned my act and keep it within 5mph of the speed limit in a personal vehicle and in the truck I drive 57mph so I won't have to worry about a ticket anyway.

You didn't out run them. They let you go. It is very common for LE to get out if a high speed pursuit in order to keep innocent bystanders from getting hurt in any cause and effect accidents. No bike is faster than radio signals.

    Orangees and truckon Thank this.

Still... He outran them. They dont have Cops laying around every single exit or street. Radio signals wont dont a thing.

160 mph is fast as hell. Takes about 10 seconds and hes off the map.

I sometimes get passed by sports bikes that werent in the mirror before I blinked my eyes. Freaks me out everytime.

I have chased 3 sport bikes and caught all 3 via road blocks a good ways ahead on probable routes..2 choices stop or die running into a patrol car blocking the road.
