Not to sure about CMVs but 4wheelers are regulated to the state they're registered in, but I don't think it'll go on your record, probably just KY trying to pad their bottom line.

Crap happens, it is what is is. As long as the money stays good I can easily deal with it.
I still think I have the best trucking job in the world. Nothing can beat picking your own loads, drop and hooks, open window appointments.. drop lots and OCs all over the place, driving a Kenworth, doing whatever I want when I want etc etc. The other week in Edwardsville I took the company car to walmart and to get something to eat, came back and got a shower at the OC. Can't beat this lifestyle man!
Yeah there's POS trailers and yeah I've had issues in the Northeast but in someway that's my choosing because if I choose to do short loads here I open myself up to more trailers and things that could go wrong.
December will make it one year I've been here, time is flying. When I was a company driver time was like being stuck in the Prime truck lol.
I remember one time specifically I drove past you, I was heading into PA while you were leaving (lucky man).. knew it was you from the pimp daddy limo tint lmao.T_TRUCKER. Thanks this. -
Lol. Yeah unfortunately since super trooper got me for it, may have to come down, oh btw I'm headed to fl now, and I would be flying but I have a dog so it may cost more then it's worth, I usually do very well going in, and taking crap to get to GA or TN kinda averages out

Do they pay you any thing when you go on a empty trailer chase?
-
yeah but it's not worth it

having fun with the .80 loads coming out lol.
I'll be going to Florida soon myself but will be flying. -
I spent over an hour last night reading this entire thread. I filled out an app for Schneider just yesterday afternoon. I have several years of experience, but all of my recent experience is all local-ish. Most every company I have spoken with, wants 1 year to two years OTR in the last 3 years. I'm a single dad with sole custody of my 9 year old son, who is going OTR with me. We've decided to make the move to OTR for a better life. Tired of living like the normal check to check. And reading this thread, has pretty much sealed the deal. If they accept my app and offer the job, I'll most likely take it and run. Thanks gentleman, for making this thread a part of your lives. I seen that I'm not the only one that this has affected.
T_Trucker, freightwipper, I look forward to passing you guys on the road.T_TRUCKER. and freightwipper Thank this. -
Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't your son need to attend school?
Sneakerfix Thanks this. -
Yes sir. He's enrolled in an online school called a Virtual Charter Academy. Where he'll start earning college credits as early as his freshman year.
