CRE doesn't care about freight rates. Why? Because they are not a freight company, they are a training company and make their money off of the American tax payer and by under-paying their drivers. No matter what the "driver shortage" is the rates will not go up for the driver. That's because it's not a free market. CRE, Swift, Werner etc etc etc all receive money from the federal government to keep an endless supply of douche-bags on the road and as a result the pay will continue to be low. If these training companies didn't exist there would be a true "driver shortage" and as a result better rates. Wake-up drivers! It's been going on for a long time. Want better rates? Get your Congressman to end the Corporate Welfare.
Have to give CR England some credit.

Duh, its part of the gradation from stage 1 driver to stage 2. If you cant hit it right then you must retest thur stage 1.

Sometimes this "government pays for students" conspiracy theory can get kind of ridiculous. None of you would be making any money had it not been for a massive act of socialism by Dwight Eisenhower who had the US highway system created. Get over the business strategy. These companies do serve a purpose and lots of great careers begin with a lower paying job at a mega starter.
Not to say I support socialism but there have been times where its saved this country's ###.spectacle13 and 77smartin Thank this. -
You were not by chance that CRE driver I was chatting with are ya ?
maninthemoon1, Straight Stacks, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this. -
Hahah no, I do think CRE's pay is ridiculously low but experience is experience. I started at Swift for 37 cpm and I think that's a fair enough wage for someone fresh out of school.

Socialism, huh?rachi and Straight Stacks Thank this.
