The difference between the two of you is the health insurance. If the mileage was equal the pay would have been about the same. You are very fortunate indeed, Pete, to have your health insurance paid for.....it makes a tremendous difference. It would be nice if more companies did that.

The week before I had 2959 miles, 1265 gross, 205 deductions, 246 taxes for a net of $813. For comparison sake. Based on 42 cpm no per diem. No accessorials.

Cranky Yankee and HometimeQueen Thank this.

George, since you aren't getting per diem you should get back a good portion of what you are paying in taxes.....keep your receipts.

    gntorres61 Thanks this.

George, you'll also need to keep copies of your logs for IRS purposes. If your on elogs, ask your company how to download a copy. Remember, they are only required to keep 6 months on hand.

Receipts? E-logs? Darn! You mean I made more work for myself? I thought that Lease drivers had to worry about that crap.
