I won't work for a company that looks at a DAC report. It's such a ######## scam. They can put anything on there without having to provide any kind of proof. Companies ought to look at a persons CSA score and MVR to determine eligibility for hire.

That is still not really a bad mark...no big deal.
I agree on opening a dispute with DAC......usually bigger companies won't respond and in 30 days it is removed...easy done!
As long as that is the only iffy thing on the report I doubt it would cause a problem anyway getting another job. -
Our industry is as bad as it is because we let it be this bad. Start standing up for yourselves. When truckers as a whole refuse to take ####, then it finally forces their companies to treat them better. But when you're quiet about it, and just let it go, you're easily replaced by someone willing to be treated like crap. -
Well I have to say when I first started driving,I wasn't the model driver first time I didn't see eye to eye with dispatch I flew the coop and have had employers make comment about on time job before. Now I am looking to go drive again and want to find a good company but #### sure don't want to have something as little as a eligible for rehire report say NO, to keep me from getting on with a decent company with the exsperiance I have. I thank all of you who have replied and will take the proper steps in getting this cleared up.

I don’t see what you are going to dispute.
I doubt HireRight would even bother to contact the company before dismissing the dispute as there is no incident to be disputed. Just your former employers own opinion on whether they would rehire you or not.
How do you expect to prove to HireRight that the company would rehire you when they say they will not?
Seems like a complete waste of time to me but I guess it’s your time to waste if you want. -
In my opinion, tango, a good company isn't going to make their decision whether or not to hire you based on what some online service has on record about you. A truly good company will know HireRight is nothing more than a sleezeball company used by sleezeball companies. Birds of a feather.....
tango and CanadianVaquero Thank this. -
Its all about finding "Patterns". 1 bad mark does not a bad driver make.
