Sorry for your loss. Maybe it can be tracked thru ecm. I read where a engine can be tracked while driving down the road. Not sure how it works. Good luck

Thank you! I will make some calls Monday, will see.

Thank you for your kind words, is not a great felling to work hard for something and then someone Just feels they have the right to take it from you.
-
Not a good feeling at all and I bet the scum bag(s) who stole it doesn't work and steals for a living at people who work hard to buy everything they own.My brother had his car stolen a yr ago and the cops found it in a cemetery on fire.

Cut off the hands of thieves and you will see a mayor different.
Straight Stacks, OLDSKOOLERnWV, lots of character and 2 others Thank this. -
I drive primarily in the southeast, though I normally don't tip into Florida. Unfortunately this week I'm running further north than usual, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.
That rig is a thing of beauty. I'm sorry for your loss. On the bright side, it'll stick out like a sore thumb. It's rare I see a rig like that.
I hope you find her. Keep us posted!

Hey, don't know if another person has said it... I googled the address. Luckily for you, there's not much place it can go. Hopefully your theives took the path that's quickest to a major road.
Often times, businesses have cameras in their parking lots as security for them. However, many will capture the road as well.
You know your time frame, and assuming I have the right place... I'd hit the bank (both banks off fl 5), the Hertz, the BP, chevron (looks big enough to be a truck stop...), and the hotel just a bit down after the chevron and where the road splits.
Most places, as long as you've got the police report in hand, will either send the footage to the police or give you a copy.
At worst, you won't see your truck at all. But there doesn't look to be many places it could be taken down without drawing too much attention. At best, you'll know which direction to start looking in.
That being said... A rig that nice. Paid off or not...they'll put something inside it to track or disable the motor. They've gotta make sure your check doesn't bounce, or you pay your fees. (I know you said it's paid for.). They aren't just going to remove that system because you brought them a nice, big check. The manufacturer put something inside that rig to cover their #####.Last edited: Oct 11, 2015
