If you haven't yet, truck stops sell a small book called "Pocket truck stop guide". Wellwworth the 5 or 6 dollars it will cost you.

Hell yeah that book rules. Also, mydat app or truckers path (my personal favorite) works awesome if you're so inclined to use your smartphone. Truckers path sorta lets you know what kinda parking is available, as well as gives you an idea what's going on with the chicken coops coming up.

Those traveling through South Carolina, I 95 is closed between I 20 and I 26 to through traffic. The detour is I 20 west, to Columbia (oy vey) I 77 south to I 26 east. Adds 60 miles. Coming from the south, I 26 west, I 77 north, to I 20 east with US 321 as an alternate to and from Columbia as there are no reported flooding breaches according to the SC highway site. I feel for those who have to live through it. Our problems are minute trying to get around it.

Well, I made that recommendation, because you said the other night, that you didn't know what truck stops were near, wherever you were going. I don't do apps myself, didn't know you had one. Don't like it, take it back.

Truckers Path is good, but the #=**/$÷$ nag screen needs to go to #$+#

That crap pops up way too much.

And then the fact that I use it on my tablet tethered to my phone and every time I hit a no signal area and have to restart the connection the app crashes as soon as it gets focus again.

I guess the 'Chat with Developers' gets ignored.

    It's always something...
