Sitting at the Flying J in Evansdale,IA waiting on a PO# so I can write a check to pay for scale

 

Trying to remember how the King handled scale tickets......waiting on dispatch can be a pain in the posterior. I think he used to pay for it so that he could get moving.....and then cash the check to get his money back when he stopped for fuel, that way there wasn't a check cashing fee. Also, since it is a set fee to scale....I think there were times he used to put in for it before he left the shipper....so that he had the number by the time he got to the Cat scale. Does that make sense guys?

 

I see that auto correct strikes again. That should have been $150. In my 4 years here, I've probably written 4 checks. We usually pay cash for everything.

I actually drove some more called dispatch to see what I pickup for hours Friday I'm now at the Elkhart Service plaza

 

If you use a fuel card, loyalty card all them have transaction times. Not just the truckstop fuel receipt.

 

You had me puzzled with the previous post....like, yikes or yowzer! !!! $150 thousand! Glad you clarified.
