You're right, but it seems that the only thing keeping Melton from being "decent" is the driver facing cameras. I've done some research into them and it seems like the vast majority of drivers are satisfied with their jobs. Personally, I just think the driver facing cameras are rather intrusive.....and a bit creepy. Just my opinion though.

 

The vast majority of people on the planet are stupid. Just keep that in mind when referencing the "vast majority" on topic.

 

Ever know a woman that was getting beat on? She complains about her black eye and trips to the hospital. You tell her that she should leave, and she won't. When she finally does leave, she finds a new guy that punches her lights out. You tell her that she doesn't have to be a punching bag, she tells you that she believes you, but the next time you see her, she looks like Rocky Balboa on a losing night. Eventually, you give up and tell her to enjoy her beatings and make the most of those hospital visits.

Seems like a lot of drivers have that same 'BeatMe and I'll Love You' mentality. And because you're not a victim, you don't see eye to eye. I don't understand. Even when I was a company driver, I didn't get pushed around. Never.

Come work for TMC! I was torn between Melton and TMC. TMC just pays better, and has better equipment. Have fun though, flatbed is the best. Dry van is for the old guys and foreigners.

Trucks are slow tho that's the bad thing

 

There are a lot of slower trucks and other vehicles I pass every day. Starting to pass UPS and FedEx. That just don't seem right.
