Louisiana Yard sale....
Chemicals were a hard deal back in the day when they actually paid. Can't imagine what's it's like now with those rates..... -
I know now ... a friend of mine was quitting also... I told him, so he kept his when he quit. he also kept the truck a week to collect one of the 2 checks they were holding ... wish I had someone to let me know how they did things...

Lease purchase = modern day sharecropping. They start with the promise of a shiny new truck and the lure of being your own boss. They usually end badly for the driver because the house always wins. It's just like Las Vegas: all those bright lights and glittering buildings weren't built by winning gamblers.
Want to be truly independent? Buy your own truck and run under your own flag. Forget the lease purchase scams!! If you play with snakes you're gonna get bit. -
http://www.lindenbulk.com/lbt_index.htm is it the same company, here in new jersey (main office) they still have a boat load of the old white gmc day cabs running a lot of guys are switching to the boasso America to haul chemicals they look like a better outfit

It's not just them and you're not the first bud......learn from this.

Probably should re-read that lease you have. I bet it says that you are not allowed to use the truck for personal transportation, like taking the truck home.... bet you were told in orientation you were not allowed to take it home, bet you were also told the penalty for that was being charge for the mileages run.

I used to work for this organization at the location mentioned, in a capacity that dealt with leasing trucks to drivers. It's one of the reasons I left the company. I felt guilty. I could not in good conscious keep doing what I was doing. The lease program only looked after the company's interests. The driver just existed to assume the costs of what was essentially a company truck. If he managed to make a few dollars, fine. If not, some other sucker will fill the seat under the guise of "independence".
sevenmph Thanks this. -
just a question from a back country boy,,,I don't get this "back load " cheap deal for just fuel money....a load is a load going somewhere , so why do people let themselves accept this.?? .its 2017 not 1917. Have no horse in this race just enquiring.
