1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Hello, I am Nick, I started out at Cargo Net 3 years ago as a driver for my friend who leased few trucks with them at that time, and later in this post you will be amazed to learn where I stand today. Let me tell you a little about the therapeutic atmosphere in this company... When you walk in their office you will see about 10 dispatchers hustling with 2 screens and 3 phones on their desks, no one is yelling or swearing, everyone greets you like a human should be greeted, with smile and hand shake, ladies that work in safety and accounting are pleasant to have a quick chat with, no grumpy ol' ladies there, safety director is the most professional and reasonable person you will ever meet, and even the 2 owners of the company are sitting with dispatchers every day from open till close, booking loads and dispatching trucks. They get most trucks covered by lunch time, there are always those few picky guys that gt left around til afternoon but eventually they get covered as well. All drivers are paid percentage of the profit, so they are involved with day to day operations including load price negotiations. For that reason, drivers are treated as business partners, not as a "truck#".
Driver safety and safety in general is the #1 focus in Cargo Net Sol. They do everything by the book, no shady business there. Check out their MC#687580 on FMSCA and you will find NO alerts. They take pride in having some of the best safety scores in all of ILLINOIS. From beginning in 2009 they believe that by keeping their scores good, better freight opportunities will open up, and it turned out to be true. They get some of the highest paid loads out there in the industry, I am talking record breaking high. About 50 percent of their loads are obtained by direct shippers and not by 3rd party brokers. As far as paychecks are concerned, you turn in your bills by Tuesday, and that same Friday you can pick up your check, or it can be sent to you via direct deposit.
For the past year and half, I am no longer a driver for my friend I earlier mentioned in this post. Now I work in the office as a dispatcher along side other dispatchers and owners of the company, booking freight and managing 14 of my OWN truck. Yes you heard that right, I am now a Contractor myself with my own fleet of 14 trucks, and more trucks on the way. I would not be able to grow this fast anywhere else. I have been in the industry since 2003, and went through hell, and good times and bad times and ups and downs, but mostly downs, because every time I went back to being a company driver. Last 3 years I went through major personal and business growth. Cargo Network Solutions helped me do that, and I have 14 happy drivers (partners) that are more than willing to back me up on that. I am looking to expand my fleet and find good hard working truckers that are willing to hustle and finally get paid what they deserve and grow with my in my business venture. I now split profit with my drivers 50-50. yes 50% of profit goes on my drivers paycheck. I make little less money that way but i DO make money, and with 1400% growth I dont mind paying my drivers more that everybody else does, because they are loyal, hard working, take care of my trucks like their own, and will never be motivated by the BS offers that people advertise out there all over the internet (which I fell for myself so many times in the past). Feel free to call me any time and I can answer ANY questions or concerns you might have. Plenty of people have found their place in this world and are happy where they are. I am not in the business of stealing drivers I am in the business of making money and if you are unhappy where you are, call me so we can make good money together, because the more money you make with me, the more money I make too (50-50). -Nick 708-705-6425 M-F 7am-6pm CT IMG_0729.JPG

Website is a little janky stock photo trucks, no real company trucks or trailer's and a couple of the links within the website are broken.

I agree with you. Nothing on that website addresses drivers interest or concerns, but instead asks you to submit your private data to them via their application. That's a huge red flag for drivers looking for an honest and up-front employer, that actually has something to offer. Also the snarky reply they gave you really sets the tone of how they operate.

welcome to the internet age if somebody gives me a web address to look at I expect relevant information, MY opinion your website has no useful information in regards to drivers just cut and paste junk found on any trucking website, you have link buttons that are broken the address provided on the website is different that what you posted here, a quick google check street and earth view so NO trucks or Trailers with your company name no signs listing your company name, I have been looking for something new since about May of this year and your original post sounded pretty interesting but the website kill any interest i might have had, Your not alone out there Believe me there are some with even worse website's I'm not bashing you here just pointing out again MY opinion that your website hurts you more than helps in finding new driver's

Well said Free2Frog. When you only have perception to base decisions on, perception is everything. Take a few pictures of your equipment, terminal, yard, drivers room, etc... post them. Type up a list of the benefits for drivers: pay, benefits, equipment, running area, type of freight hauled, primarily day or night driving, etc...the more the better...and put it on your website. It doesn't have to be fancy but it has to be present.

I hear what you guys are saying, but like I said before, we do not use our website as a primary advertisement tool, its just there to have it. Me, as a former driver never really relied on companies website for information, people can write whatever they like on there and promise all kinds of things. I always found it better when getting info directly from other drivers or employees of that company, weather its through facebook or direct contact with them. I know that making a website more professional would maybe help us in a long run and make us look more in tune with current technology, which lots of drivers depend on for making decisions weather its for new job or other services. We do however have a facebook page, and I urge you to brows through it if you have a second, we post photos frequently of our equipment and some events as well. I hope that helps better understanding of who we are and what we do. But like I said, advertisement is the least worry for us, we are a small company of 130 trucks and we do not have the means nor time for advertisement. I am doing all this in my spare time because I am trying to help my self and our company grow. Hopefully what I do will pay off. Thank you all for your posts and comments, I take criticism very seriously and I am grateful for it because it helps me learn and improve. I am not perfect nor is our company but we work hard just like all of you, in order to grow, expand, and continue to provide excellent service to our customers and ours drivers.
