I'm new to the industry and will be starting my training on Nov 4th. But the problem is i have to get "pre" hired by a company on a specific list before my tuition will be paid. I live in Manitoba and would like knowledgeable opinions on these companies please.

My first choice atm is Bartel Transport out of Morris, followed by Agri-Tel out of Beausejour. Although I would love to work for Hylife as they have a local fulltime grain truck route, I can't exactly off the guy who currently hold that position, LOL.

I know I need to do long haul as both of the companies listed above are minimum 2 hours away from where I live. So advice would be great. Thank you in advance.

Is Manitoba a city in Minnesota? I've never heard of any of these companies

Is that a requirement of your school?
I ask, since many other companies. At least here in the south, will pay tuition reimbursement after a period of time with them.
And you say pre-hired, but does that mean you have to actually be hired by those companies? Or can you work for anyone to pay for the tuition.
This would be a really good time to speak with a "counselor" at your school to get a better understanding of what is required of you.

It is a requirement through Manitoba Public Insurance. As they are going to pay for the schooling which costs $8400. I have to get "hired" by one of the listed companies and sign a 2 year contract with the company.
