So I'm drivin along mind in my own business last week and I feel a boil type thing on my butt. No big deal. Hurts to run 700 miles with a boil on my butt, but I'm a highly trained professional that's what I do. By this morning, however, it's grown to the size of a orange, so I think hey let's go to the er and get this thing lanced. Good plan I thought. Three hours later I'm taking a helicopter ride and being told I have some kinda gangrene down by my private area. Probly be hospitalizzed a week they tell me. Boy, some days it don't pay to get outta bed. Also, y'all gonna be sick of all the posting I'm gonna be doin in the coming days.

I'm glad that you didn't wait any longer to get to the ER and you have our prayers for a speedy recovery.
Keep on posting ....we do enjoy your sense of humor and that way we will know how you are.
Good thoughts, hugs and prayers being sent your way!scottlav46 and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
They have a storage room by the night dispatch office for your things.
Since it's a body shop thing, you'll probably have time for more than 1 recovery.HometimeQueen and jdmredneck33 Thank this. -
Question is How safe is it to leave your stuff in there without it being stolen by another driver, Hoping they just put me in another truck really don't wanna hafta worry about my stuff might hafta use my 30 to stop at a Walmart to buy a couple duffle bags so I can just bring my stuff with meHick Thanks this.
-
Heh you really wanna take it all with you on US Airways? Through TSA Hell?
I left my stuff in there and nobody bothered it. Only a few people have the key.HometimeQueen and jdmredneck33 Thank this. -
From the pics, I think they can fix your truck in short order, I doubt that they will put you out of the truck over it.
If they do have you do a recover, you can keep your stuff in your truck. I did a few different recoveries and they just put notes not to reassign my truck. I had one truck sit almost 2 weeks with all my stuff in it at the Rockwall yard, every thing was fine when I got back in. This was all of course, pre arranged and agreed with my DM that I would get my truck, and stuff back after the recovery.
I think they got rid of the driver's storage room in Olathe, or maybe they just moved it. I left stuff in there for months and it was fine when I got back. Just wrap it up well and mark it with your name, phone# and email. They never had a formal driver's storage room in Rockwall However, I did store some stuff back in the room with the copier next to Ty's office when I went off to Thailand for 4 months.Last edited: Oct 19, 2015
