Right for 2 hrs nothing. 2hr 1min to 2hr59min gets you 15. 3-5 hr gets 30 , 5-7hr gets you 45 , 7-9 hr gets you 60 anything beyond should be considered layover at that point for 65.

I could be wrong scythe08. I will have to pay closer attention.
201 miles today. P/U my live load and delivered in Fife. In and out in an hour. Nice.
New pre assignment was a D/H in Sumner and head to Portland to relay. I could have made it back to Portland today but my next pre assignment is to a 253 miles D/H from Portland in Chiloquin OR. Appointment time is 17:00 tomorrow. So why stay in my truck all day tomorrow till 13:00 before I head out. I will sleep in my own bed and leave early and then head to Chiloquin after that. If it is readywhen I get there I might be able to make it back to Portland. If not, I will stay in Chelmult or at the Summit for the night.MThunter Thanks this. -
414 miles today. Waiting t to P/U load. Will start at 0 dark 30 tomorrow have to back in Portland by 08:00 to relay load to Auburn WA. Other driver will be waiting is what DBL said.
New pew assignment is to DH to Moxee and D/H in Portland on Friday AM. Should be near 360 miles.MThunter Thanks this. -
599 miles today. From Chiloquin to Portland to Moxee and back to Portland OC for the night. Will deliver load early AM.
Last night load was not ready till 20:15. Ran out of my 14 at the dock. Stayed at the dock all night. Nobody said a word.
I left my lock on the previous trailer door. ####. Had that lock since my first week working here. I was hoping trailer was still in the yard when I got back this AM. No such luck. They had to cut it off last night. Those locks are hard cut even with the big bolt cutters from Maint. Oh well.MThunter Thanks this. -
478 miles today. From Portland I BT 180 miles to Hermiston to P/ U trailer. Then 81 miles onto Grandview to P/U D/H. Back 180 miles to Portland to drop load. No MTs.
Called DBL, he said IFCO was changing to live loads next week. Great.....unload time will be near an hour. They are backed up again. 6 loaded trailers on the street, 6 loaded trailers in the yard.
DBL asked if I wanted to go to Cali with a load or go home. Duh. Home I go tomorrow. Will P/U D/H in DuPont and take it back to Sumner to relay.
2384 miles last week. That was with my 23 mile day. 1372 the week prior coming off vacation time. 3 work days total in week.MThunter Thanks this. -
Mickeyrat is correct about the detention breakdown. If I sit for a lot of hours, I will ask the dbl "Is there anything you can do to help me out?" If you get a good one, they will sometimes add the layover in addition to the detention. One of the best dbls in Fontana left a few months ago. Getting that help is a little harder now.
She is also correct that your first stop ETA is the only one that matters for your bonus performance, so don't sweat it.
As for me and tankers, not so good. After waiting for about 2 months of delays trying to get things moving, I finally talk to the hiring manager for Bulk in Dallas late Sept. He likes me and my record. We chat for a while about the job. A couple days later he calls and tells me that he spoke to the DM in Houston. Basically, Bulk in Dallas (or maybe all of Texas) is in a hiring freeze due to low freight. Crap.
He suggests moving to Dallas for VTL OTR and transfer in when things pick up. So that's what I am doing. But that was three weeks ago. I have been trying to get my dbl to move, but it seems like he has been dragging his feet again.
After trying to get him going this week, and not getting much response, I called yesterday. He was out all day. But my call was picked up by his supervisor, who told me that they had discussed my situation the day before, and gave me the name and number of the Ops Manager. I will call her on Monday. Worked it out to go home next week to start the move process.
So it looks like I will be in Dallas in early November. Winter should be interesting this year running the 48. I am looking forward to getting out of CA. -
