I miss a lot more stuff than I get and never have been good taking pics.....I have this bad habit of making sure the truck gets driven safely before I get the pic. one of these days I'm gonna figure out how to get stuff off the dashcam onto the computer. I've missed some really good and stupid stuff with that one as well. I'm really not good with computers it takes me awhile to figure out how to do that stuff.Rocks, Vilhiem, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and 1 other person Thank this. -
got 2 letters I've been looking for this week.
first was from safety determining my swift incident as non-preventable. I knew it was n/p. all the witnesses knew it was n/p. you never really breathe that sigh of relief though until you get the official determination from the ones who make it.
the other was for the driver rewards. they're turning my truck up today. slow as these folks are to do anything the data cutoff was in june and it only took them 4 months to compile and distribute the performance goals lol so they still have me listed as having to meet the goals for the Volvo.
to keep the truck turned up we have to stay under 8% long idle time ( any idle more than 5 minutes) easy. I'm around 4%
no more than 1% over rpm. anything over 1500. easy
fuel mileage has to be 7.7 avg or better. that's going to be the tough one. in the Volvo I was right at that. the KW that goal will be a little higher I'm going to have to call and find out the goal for that truck but it's going to be 8 or better. with the heavy backhauls we do on truckload that makes that number really borderline to reach. it's very apparent that program will benefit the LTL guys a lot more than us since they never carry anything over 20-25k with most loads 10k or less. with the heavy backhauls I've had lately mine is down around 8.1 right now.
if we blow any parameter the computer will turn the truck back down to 65 until we do 250 miles at or better than goal then it turns it back up.Rocks, double yellow and TruckDuo Thank this. -
Orginally was supposed to pick up a load going to Carson, CA but like the way it's been lately that cancelled cause of not enough freight. On the plus side, they replaced it with a run that goes to Swedesboro, NJ. Picks up at 3pm like the other one so still gonna meet @PackRatTDI after we shower at the Flying J.
