There's something I look for in driving videos. A smoothness at the controls...allowing the gears to work, not beating on the truck. It irks me to see someone beat on a truck.
You're smooth on the controls. Not revving the motor and dumping the clutch, not gear jamming, not sawwing at the wheel or stabbing the brakes, not running over things with the trailer. A subtle display of good technique.mp4694330, Ozdriver and peterbilt_2005 Thank this. -
All that and doing it on the wrong side of the cab.tsavory, Orangees, glitterglue and 3 others Thank this.

Auburn Ny to Verona Va. $2500.
Daiken plant up there closing down. Everything is going either to Mexico or Verona Va. I dont cross borders, so Verona it was.
Anyone one up that way... they have a tone of stuff to move. I'll be back up there next week to move 2 day cab trucks down here to Verona again.
Most of the presses are heavy and all need to be tarped. The one I took was 45,980 lbs and 10ft wide.

I don't know but somehow you blokes manage it... Maybe it is because you all are upside down down there? LOL There are what, 2 countries that drive on the wrong side of the road?

On another note, Kangaroo hide is supposed to be the toughest hide there is. Even above Rhino which is 2nd followed by Buffalo.Pipe 40 Thanks this. -
Well I guess we don't drive on the same side as you because we never ran the British out of our country. It has it disadvantages though being we sit right behind the turbo and on top of the exhaust. Which is great in winter if your winters are cold.
As for kangaroos I would say one of our most under utilized resources. Thousands die and rot on the road side. On a recent road trip out western Queensland we count 51 dead in a kilometre.
The leather is strong and supple and used in football boots, gloves and bags. The meat is one of the leanest red meat there is, do we eat it, not very much.Rugerfan Thanks this. -
I was in Sydney about 25 years ago and I remember seeing a bumper sticker on a ute that said "Eat More Roo Meat, 25 Billion Americans Can't Be Wrong" With the McDonalds M on it. The 25 number may be wrong but it was a play on the McDonalds XX Billion served they used to have on their signs and the rumors that they were importing roo meat.
