    Met a New TA Company driver at the Lowes in Cheyenne,WY yesterday it was Only his 3rd day driving solo an I'm glad I was able to help him out an give him some pointers His Trainer Did a Really bad Job, He was never taught how to edit his Logs, was never told about the 5mins for fueling,5mins for Pretrip or the 10mins for Post helped him get a Crap load of time Back on his clock by helping him Edit his Logs and give him a bunch of pointers,Also was able to show him how to use the GPS when it comes to putting an address in yourself an Searchng for Truck stops, I referred him to this Thread an Hopefully he takes the advice and Comes on also Gave him my number so if he needs any help he can call an I can help the best I can if not then I can try an help him find out

    I can hear it now...

    "Hi redkneck. Do you know how to shut up that computer voice? It keeps saying 'We have not received your pre trip inspection for 11/01/15...' and 'We have not received your post trip inspection for 11/01/15...' over and over and over and over, even though I have checked my logs and they are in there!"

    That call is coming :D

    Press 3 repeately till you dont hear it. Know from experience. I keep getting ive been in sleeper too long. Only last 8 days

    Maybe he was shown. ..and just forgot with all the information.....I doubt it but to say a bad trainer when you're not in the truck...just saying

    I didn't just help correct the 3days he was By himself I also Helped correct some of his logs from when he was with his Trainer

    When I was with TA I never had the volume on. That thing drove me crazy.

    2350 mile last week, 2200 this week. Got home yesterday morning around 9am. Dropped in Lowes Garysburg NC about 6am instead of Friday night. The Friday afternoon I 95 traffic got me again. Tried to go US 1 south of Quantico VA. Too many stop lights in Stafford County. Went 2 miles in an hour. Jumped back on 95 but the damage was done. Should have gotten off on US 50 to 301 in Southern Maryland. As a result, no reset and little more than 24 hours hometime. Back out later after lunch headed to QVC Suffolk going to UPS Horsham PA for tomorrow morning. If Baltimore doesn't getcha, NOVA or DC will. Oy Vey. Yeah I know the I 81 I66 US 17 back to I 95. No picnic in Fredericksburg. Weekend traffic just sux.

    Two weeks ago it took me over an hour to go from the Springfield interchange to the first Stafford exit, at 11:00 am. Friday's in that area are brutal. A lot of lights on 301, have you tried that before?

    EVERY day on that part of 95 is brutal.

    301 is good sailing though from ex. 104 up to La Plata at least. I'd rather go through southern MD than northern VA any day.
