I'd like to make something clear before people get bent out of shape over my comments.
I'm not against anyone getting high, buzzed, hung over.. what ever your thing is. I've done most all of it except the needle. So I do know what its like. I enjoyed it. But I currently have other priorities that take precident over getting high.
What I am against is not acting responsibly or maturely about it.
Do not put me in a situtation where I have to become the butt hole and do what I feel is in the best interest for everyone and we wont have any problems between us.
EDIT:
I have to add this thought....
Those of you arguing pro drugs... you do realize we are professional drivers? I mean if you have to cleanse each time you get high for fear of losing your job.. how does that reflect on who you are as a person? Are you a parent? Are you reaponsible for a large portion of the income to support your family? Is getting high more important than your family?
After my kids were born I went cold turkey. I was a 12 pack every night, 2 cases on the weekend, gram a day to get me going and toked up every chance I got.
I just reset my priorities. My family meant more to me.

The war on drugs is a failure. America needs to decriminalize all of it.

I'm actually seeing the sheepleCanned Spam Thanks this. -
Never tried it , but saw its effects on folks up close and personal while in Vietnam , the way it's use affected them and their ability to do their jobs , convinced me I didn't need to partake , never drank either , but had 3 uncles that were life-long alcoholics. All 3 died in their 50's , 2 from driving drunk , and 1 from liver decease.
So yes , after witnessing all that as a young man , and knowing that pot is actually illegal why would anyone want to chance giving it a chance to ruin their life. The Professional One Thanks this. -

I know people that smoke, and they cannot hold a regular job nor are very motivated to do anything but figure out where their next hit will come from.

I respect your decisions to not use. Your own response shows that alcahol can do more harm than weed. But alcohol remains legal and marijuana is not. My personal belief is that alcohol is worse but both can be used responsibly and should be legal for adults. I drink beer and sometimes whiskey but never while working and in moderation, why should marijuana be treated any differantly.Kayman282 Thanks this.

I know drinkers who are exactly the same. Some people can drink responsibly, some cant. The same goes with weed. I know smokers like you describe, I also know some that are very successful and make more money than any of us do
