Dog c has the right mindset. Start looking and go find a company that does ya right. One that does paper logs.....you know for accuracy.

 

Sit down and show on a spread sheet each trip what you should be paid, what you paid for (scales, lumpers) and balance this against your payroll breakdown when they pay you. Show the missing payments.

Go in with a positive mindset, don't argue, show your breakdown of paid/not paid.

Start keeping track and log each phone call to payroll, who talked to, when/date/time, conversation.

Go in with the right paperwork showing your numbers and be calm and collect, let them figure it out.

I got called in once by the dispatch manager and was told my miles were not on par for that month of the year. I told him to hold on. Got my laptop and opened my spread sheets showing each trip dispatched on, what was given for miles for each trip/by month/by year and my numbers were about 5000 miles more than what he said I had. I had all the information that was passed over the QC. He had nothing to back up his claim. Once he saw what I had his game was called. I was a company driver and ran about 14 different spreadsheets. I kept everything even down to the time I bumped to the dock. Overkill, maybe, but I like to CYA.

 

A great attitude solves 1/2 the problem.

If you go in there with good attitude and respect chances are they will help you.
