Hello,
I am wondering about current information for Steven's Alliance Leasing program. I would like to know current truck payments, how insurance costs work, how maintenance issues work, current fuel surcharge and fuel bonus or savings, mileage pay, how escrow works, lease term and conditions, sign on or completion bonuses, and basically anything else about it.
Now, I am not asking for opinions. I understand what a lot of people think about it. I simply want to know numbers and an explanation of your current alliance leasing numbers if possible.
Please no opinions.
Matt

Have you tried asking them? Leases change often. Even someone that signed one of their leases 3 months ago might be under a completely different lease structure. Best to get that information from the horses mouth.

Ok I was at .85 cpm I believe now they are at .91. It's hard to tell someone else what they are going to make. Cause it depends on if they are solo or a trainer. How good they are at reducing fuel consumption and what truck they choose. Also how they drive. Because you are charged for out of route miles at .3 cpm. Out of route miles are any miles you drive that are above the amount your load assignment said it would take. This was always a gripe of mine cause stevens figures miles shortest route from edge of zip code to edge of zip code. So every load will have some. Solo I made avg 400.00 a week with some bigger weeks and some smaller weeks. Anytime I went home it took 2 weeks to catch up. I was a mpg master so that helped a lot. Once I started training my avg was prob a little over 800.00 a week. Mind you I swapped into a more expensive truck when I started training. I had some 1800.00 and 2000.00 weeks as well every now and again. I always put 100.00 a week into a time off account when I trained too. All in all if you stay out 5 weeks and go home for a week. As a trainer you can realistically do between 65k and 70k a year. But honestly you can do that as a company driver as well. Those numbers are after truck fuel etc. The reason for leasing with most of these companies isn't money your not going to make a whole lot more. It's freedom. The option to turn loads down no NYC things like that.
