1000mg of Ibuprofen every 5 hours is putting you in serious risk of liver or kidney damage. I forget which...

Actual that would be acetaminophen that can cause liver damage that can be fatal a few days later if you overdose . Ibuprofen will cause a belly ache .

try alternating Ibuprofen with acetaminophen every four hours. Had a wisdom tooth pulled last year, and literally felt NO pain at all with that regimen. MUCH better than either of them alone, even at substantial doses.

Ibuprofen or any of the other NSAID pain relievers can and will cause bleeding ulcers. I actually died from internal bleeding 7 years ago, only thing that saved me is I was at a VERY good hospital (U. Of Utah) when my heart stopped. A week later I got out of the hospital and haven't used ibuprofen since

I have been on Tramadol for two years for back pain and migraines. As of last summer it has been re classified by the DEA as a class 3 controlled substance.
Legally if you take it you can not drive for 8 hrs. I have already been through this round and round with my company.

Oh go ahead and take the stuff. What does a truck driver need a liver for anyway. Before long there will only be automatons. Carriers are now installing rearward facing camera's. Qualcomm's using GPS track you. Once all of this gets tied together drivers are history anyway. So what does an automaton need with a liver?

hey, i just got back. only the usual Novocaine was used, and the tooth broke in half. man, i could feel that doctor digging in there to get it all out. after it was done, he had asked me if i wanted any pain meds, i said no.

i'm still taking the night off though.

right now, i got a sterile gauze pad to bite down on, so i cannot talk much, well i cannot talk at all, which has me pissed, i got a lot to say.

after about 1 hour, i take out the gauze and leave it alone.

so to the o/p, good luck to you, hope your goes well, and if offered, take the meds he/she offers, you never know YOUR personal reactions to the post-op pains.....

    best of luck to you.

Actually I was referring to the big brass nuts vs pain killers, but I could pull it out with the hitch I guess. LOL

Whatever is clever buddy! Tooths coming out one way or the other.

In-house insurance only covers a bag of ice and a salt tablet.

Reckon it's the most wallet friendly option
