    hired as a local/short haul driver,after I gave a two weeks notice,I was told to go on a long run,I refused and was fired and told that I wouldn't get paid and that he would report to dac that I quit under a load,and would make sure I wouldn't get another job.and I would be charged $395 for quitting before 90 days.I did the job that I was hired to do,and tried to do the right thing by giving a 2 week notice and still get screwed by these people.

    Do you have a written copy stating that, or something in writing that gives a description of your duties? Refer to that. As for them not paying you for work performed; contact your local labor relations board.

    They are always advertising for local drivers in Nashville, that company is definitely a shade tree outfit, you are like the 4th local driver they have had in 6 mos.The shady safety lady Cindy is really good at lying on employment verifications, I never worked there but my best friend did and it was a horrible experience for them, I went to LaVergne and interviewed and got a bad feeling so I went elsewhere
