The time it takes to sue + legal expenses > the amount of money stolen. But that's just my opinion. But just to echo the general sentiment, call your DM. If they can't resolve it call payroll. If they can't call HR and get a list of phone numbers up the food chain and keep going until somebody can. That is the best bet to get the money back. In the mean time I would strongly advise a different carrier. ANY carrier would be better than this kind of nonsense. But it helps to know what your goal is and what area you're coming from along with level of experience. A quick search through the big names on here will at least give you an idea of what you will be dealing with ahead of time so ya won't be going in blind.
In the mean time just take a moment, breath, and relax. Driving your blood pressure through the roof will not help the situation and you may need a physical in the very near future if luck is smiling down. Make the calls and look for other opportunities they are out there.Greatest.Driver.On.Earth! and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
Why haven't you gone right into payroll while at the Indy terminal? I did it while I worked there. No big deal to just walk in there and get things resolved. Much easier than coming here and asking questions.
Greatest.Driver.On.Earth!, Swedish Chef, TB John and 2 others Thank this. -
Nice job with the spreadsheets, Mark. Mine look very similar to the 1st 3 attachments (025, 026, 027). On my laptop, I use LibreOffice, another free MS-compatible program. There are some calculations done on mine that I don't like the look of and I bet you could guide me down the path of how to fix it. I may send you a PM later.
I had not thought about putting reimbursement categories in mine. The company does a good job reimbursing us for scales, out-of-pocket tolls, etc. Lumpers are always issued a comchek.
Earlier, she said she didn't have a laptop, so I can assume she uses a phone or a tablet to access the internet. I don't know if OO has a free app or not. Libre does, but it does not want to work well with my tablet. I use WPS Office on my tablet and even with a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, I would not want to make my load spreadsheet on it. That sucker was very time consuming on my laptop. I use it for word documents and small, no-calculations needed spreadsheets for when I want to create lists that I want to quickly organize like customer codes or favorite radio stations across the country.Greatest.Driver.On.Earth! And some pallets fell out on its way to its destination.Greatest.Driver.On.Earth! and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.
