The mom and pop locations get the same diesel fuel as the big chains... It's all unbranded diesel... Look at some of the pumps at the smaller places that have shell brand gasoline for instance and the diesel pump will say diesel is not shell branded... That's because the diesel is unbranded

Sorry but if you're giving out false info I will call you on it. I will also say why its false.

If you're not mature enough to handle it, put the keyboard down and go home.

If you have to resort to crying and immature personal attacks, maybe you should reevaluate your level of knowledge on a subject. Just because someone tells you you're wrong doesn't mean its personal.

I'm wrong sometimes, its rare, but it does happen. If you prove it to me, I'll stand corrected and be thankful.

You're right that #2 diesel is pretty much always the same stuff.

What its blended with before it leaves the pump at the fuel island is what can make a difference. Example, one location may use #1 for winterizing their fuel, while another depends on the driver using additives at the drop.

You are absolutely right. No need to refute anything you say. I came on here just to give out false information. You caught me.

I don't recall personally attacking you, but I'm wrong about so much that evidently I did. I do recall saying that you call others out for being wrong, but I was probably wrong about that as well.

It must be difficult carrying around the world's knowledge in order to point out the incompetence of all of us uninformed folks and our lack of learned data.

You go ahead and be the big truck trucker that you are and I will put down my little keyboard and reach for my hanky. My maturity level will not let me play with the big 'ol truckers on this forum.

If I ever have questions about how to be a big truck trucker, I'll make sure to come directly to you since no one else could ever have different information than you. I am sure they would just be wrong.

I am at least mature enough to have respect for someone else's info even if my experience is different. But I guess not everyone is raised with civil manners in open discussions.

It will be my last post in this thread, sorry, Fat Daddy.

    Since the invention of ulsd.

Some customers only order additional additives in winter, dependant upon temperature. Others want it all year, mainly co-ops and such. You just put it in as your dropping, or dump it in your hose before starting your pump at a bulk plant.
