Why is that so bad driver? You know how many folks out there are not getting a check, not just with Eagle, but in a lot of lease purchase programs. This driver just started his flat bed business and so far has been in the positive since he has been rolling. So which would you rather have, a $900 check for the week, or be in the hole?

Look, I really don't mean to sound harsh, but I've done flatbed. It's HARD work, to do it AND have the responsibility of being an O/O I would expect to do A LOT better than $900 a week - taxes!

Now if the poster is hell bent on following through this way, and is willing to live on $900- a week ( or even $2,000 a week which Id STILL CONSIDER not enough) then, by all means. More power to him. But I think if where being honest here, we would agree that a flatbed O/O should be AVG MUCH MORE THAN that on a weekly basis. I don't know the poster, maybe he sees this as a learning period (in which case I might understand) but even in this freight market ( admittedly not optimal) that should be considered way too low a revenue number.

    I honestly wish him luck.

I think that is where he is at, learning to run this as a business, as he becomes more experienced the money will come, hopefully.

Good move, let the others guess all they want, no matter what company you pick to go with, someone will have something negative to say that company.
