The tough part of Cascadia is the side fairings are really low to the ground. You really have to consider wheel placement when negotiating jobs sites and pray when you are in a plowed farm field. Not the best for flatbed but I think a person could deal with it for the most part.

230 wheel base with an enclosed rack works but there is practically no room for overhang in the front and tall loads that are flush with the front of the trailer will cause problems turning on an incline like a steep driveway.

Im looking at a wheelbase of around 250,so I prefer a smaller nose on the truck.
I could just remove the lower fairing right?
I drove a lone star for a while, the long nose looks impressive, but its no fun in tight places.
    Thanks.

Personal preference for me is a 579 withe 80 inch sleeper, 270ish wheelbase, headache box not just a rack, 550+ hp with 13sp and 3:36 rears prefer the cat for pulling but would take the Cummins for fuel mileage. Get rid of all the darn fairings they are just dead weight. I guess for me I love the old 359 to the newer 379 and w900 but for fuel mileage which when we all look at it, is really a big part of the game so yeah more aerodynamic truck with less weight equals bigger pay day

LOL, funny you should mention that. We have one W900, and it is only this one truck, that if you give me a 28 foot pup trailer and 40 acres I could turn that thing around and only have to back up one time. I swear that thing had the turning radius of an aircraft carrier. Every other truck we have, and they are all either w900 or t800, turn way sharper than this truck does. It has apparently been that way since he bought the truck.

Specs? I come from the Roy McAvoy school of thought, grip it and rip it, or in the case of a truck, just get in and mash the gas and go!

They are offering the 579 as a glider now?

I spent 5 weeks in this truck last summer while mine was in the shop. I have a Columbia that turns on a dime.

This truck is a 2012 Coronado SD. My first left turn I had to stop and back up to prevent running over an old lady at the bus stop. The turning radius took some getting used to. This one needed 4 air craft carriers and a football stadium to turn around.
