You say "our" trucks hood, so are you the owner of the truck that was damaged? Or is just your assigned company equipment?

Nope not the owner and it wasn't my "assigned truck "lol already did the owner/operator thing and got out in 2003 when I seen trucking going downhill and would never be brainwashed into doing a l/p and being told how much money I'll make if I drive 54mph.So what's your point?

Well sorry to hear the truck got hit. But it wasn't your truck. Trust me when you have some skin in the game it changes things. And your trying to insinuate that I'm a l/p driver I'm not. I drove company and saved my money until I could pay cash for my equipment.

So what you came to say to our newer drivers that maybe just starting their careers is "haha your just starting out and so have to drive for a training company and drive slow, haha neener neener neener". Does that about sum it up?

I'm one of those guys that's looking to start a new career, and that's exactly what drew me to take a long close look at Prime. They seem to have an extensive training program and are committed to safety. Driving slower does seem to make sense for new inexperienced drivers and fuel conservation. While Prime may not be a perfect fit for everyone, it looks like a good place to start to me.

Hmmm, I could have sworn this thread was about new Peterbuilts? Seems to have turned into a slow truck, anti technology, Prime punk fest. Not much actual info about the topic heading to be found. That's cool though, just keep slinging mud. It reminds me of when fuel injection was new to cars, or even when those new fangled cell phone things showed up. Neither of those caught on eh? How about GPS? That'll never work huh? Embrace the future or prepare to become obsolete.

My hats off to Prime, seems to me they're investing in technology that makes a ton of sense. Driver centric stuff that should be applauded. Don't like it? Go drive for whoever you like.

Except that driving THAT slow changes from safe, to safety hazard! It's a major impediment and creates backups, and wrecks.
