Also works well when your running nights, and you want to run days,or vice versa, shortens your day by a few hours, without paying a huge mileage penalty.
-
No, it is revenue. You are spending extra TIME to produce that revenue.
For reasons I won't get into here, I've found myself in a rental truck this past week. Fleet specs...64.3 mph limiter. Trips are taking roughly 20-25% longer to drive in this under-powered, neutered, ugly-as-sin aero truck. Then, as though to kick a man when he's down, fuel mileage is actually 1/4 mpg WORSE than what I typically average in my own truck spec'd in a manner which would make the "experts" cringe. My truck is spec'd to get the job done, with fuel mileage being an afterthought. This fleet-spec truck was put together with fuel mileage in mind, and really isn't very good at doing anything.blade, Dominick253, Lone Ranger 13 and 3 others Thank this. -
Now we need push for a mandate that requires shippers and receivers to load/unload within 2 hours, be open 24/7 and provide sufficient onsite parking! That will happen right?
BeN DaViS, Dominick253 and Pure.Genius Thank this. -
i dont mind elogs. it's the fourteen hour rule that needs to go!!! it forces you to drive tired. we should be able to log 14hrs of work within a twenty four hour period.
RERM, BeN DaViS and Lone Ranger 13 Thank this. -
I stand corrected. I thought you were exempt from the 30 min break. And yes NY and grapes comes to mind for AG and CA intrastate has different HOS rules.mp4694330 Thanks this.
-
You can. But I get. Your drift
-
We are. But that 30 min break exemption doesn't help much when you're looking at a 1400 mile run.wore out, mp4694330, ramblingman and 1 other person Thank this.
