yeah a man who makes ageeements with other men is one thing but a man who makes DEALS with corporations that include contractually unenforcable language becauae they violate state statutes is #### sucker. dont tell me what a man is, boy. you have any idea how little the big carriers care about your agreements. they are legal instruments, not gentlemens agreements. you can simplify it all you want. but a deal is a deal.

tell swim the company won't take his cdl but he is under contract .so until he pays it off unlikely any companies will hire him.him leaving the company right after he got his cdl says a lot about the person.

See...you can date somebody by how they think. The younger generation has no clue about honoring commitments or loyalty. That is what is wrong with this country any more. It simultaneously saddens and scares me.

sounds like your friend signed on with swift. he must have read all of the feedback on swift on truckers report and changed his mind. i would rather just pay swift the money and go somewhere else.

You said it your self boy... A deal is a deal...

Men honor their deals... No one forced you to make that agreement, you did it all on your own.

Like I said, good luck boy, but don't pretend you are not breaking an agreement you made. Don't pretend there is honor in it.

let it be noted that i have attempted to close this thread twice now and only received ridicule for trying to do so along with continued inciting comments. what kinda ####show is this? anybody reading this can stop now, as the original topic has been completely lost. i doubt the (removed) above me is even aware of what it was. sorry to be crass, but this is not a well run community if this is normal or tolerated behavior on a thread. it is much less disruptive to have a little crass language in a post then it is to have many of the distracting comments this thread has received. i bet only half of the people on here know how to conduct a proper forum.

what scares me is that non-lawyer types literally dont understand contracts. they are not agreements. they are contracts. if you break them in bad faith its considered bad. but these are no gentlemans agreements. the agreement swim made is not broken by not working for the company. its broken by not paying them back which swim never intends to do.
