Gotta luv communication breakdowns....buyer in NYC....speaks fluent Bronx....grower in Mexico speaks fluent Tex-Mex.....truckin company in LaRodeo speaks fluent gibberish.....upshot....Im sposed to get 8plts of Avocados here...then go to Mission/Pharr/Harlingen for other products....Truck held up at NL.....cuz......Whole load of Avicados......was sposed to cross at Reynosa w/out a Mx crossdock----so of course customs biys wanted to know WHY a Laredo cross carrier was pickin up trl in NL...to cross to Laredo when ppwrk showed MX carrier sposed to cross direct Reynosa/Pharr.....ya can't make this #### up!....So now everybody po'd cept moi....I get 1.5 days layover....then full TL rate Laredo-Mission....cuz now I gots 30 plts Avocados on....would have loved to be conferenced in on that 3way....5 language shoutin match....LMAO

 

or have DOT inspectors show up unannounced climb in the jump seat and go for a check ride like FAA does? Those aren't fun. None of them have a sense of humor about anything

Finallllly getting around to catching up on some pages. I did last night but my I decided it was too much work to keep up while on my phone instead of the laptop

Had to get these O/Os paid ... @truckon , the check has been cut again this week . Now I got time to dilly-dally on here, and maybe file stuff, til my lunch break

oh the other thing I forgot in fishing is the gubbermemt has private contractors that go observe your daily fishing. These contractors hire college grads straight out of college majoring in Biology and fishery management and the like
just priming themselves to become dispatchers
so the observers are mandatory and if they are on the dock when you leave you have to cut a check before you can untie the boat

if this course of action hits the bayous there will be less gubberment

 

blue ogre knows all of the west coast is not as pretty as a postcard too
I will admit above exit 10 on NJTP I find little of redeeming value

Yes, you're right about that. No doubt. @Blu_Ogre and myself and several other right minded folks have been trying to stop NJ for many years now. Shame they seem to get away with some petty excuse about States Rights. ..... Where's Ronnie Reagan at ? ....
