Well? Let's see what's wrong with that? When I joined a few years ago. My first post wasn't to complain, it was to interact with others that worked in the same industry as I, personally I think anyone who starts out like this, isn't worth is salt, how about a initial post to says "Hi, my name is ????, I drive for ??, maybe this would be a better start than just

 

I wonder if he is really an Owner Operator or a Lease/Purchase "Owner Operator"?

I would venture to guess LP, many believe that when they lease a truck from the company they drive for, thery are owner ops, just not the fact though

 

Some companies will allow lease operators who are running under their authority to use paper logs. Most megas don't. If you prefer to use paper logs, get your own authority and become a true owner operator. However, I think all this will be a moot point shortly as it appears the Elog mandate has cleared it's last hurdle and is ready for publishing in November.
