For a second, that almost sounded like a good natured post. But with my experience in trolling, my spidey-sense kicked in about 2 sentences after you misspelled Albuquerque..
Which of the megas have reasonably short training periods?

It isn't the easiest city to spell. Look at Watkins Shepard if you want a short training period.

Nah not trolling. Honestly, when I was with them I did a lot of repowers across 40 but that was a few years ago. IDK for sure what it's like these days. But all the same spelling corrected accordingly. The reason I say Kingman AZ is when they see you come out with a multi-pick load they try to catch the nearest dumb&dumber team or contractor to grab it and run. Anyways they do have a long training schedule so more than likely not what you are looking for specifically.Last edited: Nov 21, 2015

When your in downtown anycityusa and trying to alley dock from a busy city street into an enclosed dock you can't see into because of the sun you will be asking the holy one upstairs why was I not ready for this. Get over yourself put in your dues then you can call yourself a trucker.

That's true. However, if you have a "trainer" that knows the job he or she will at least keep the new driver from killing him or her or someone else. It's getting to where I do not want to get on the road. I sure the heck would not hang around a truck. Sure has changed from the old days.allniter, Bob Dobalina and pattyj Thank this.

I do agree with you but unfortunately today's trainer are newbies themselves.its like a cheap version of watching Laurel and Hardy.who's training whom.most the newbies need another dose of training.

Seasoned truck drivers don't want to deal with rookies and since they have their own special way to do stuff the last thing they want to hear is "well in the cdl school they told me to do it like..." I will go ape feces on them faster than a far kid after being told there's free ice cream.

I agree and disagree. I sure do not want to hear about how it was done somewhere else,
but I feel it my responsibility to pass on information that might help.Dumdriver Thanks this.
