Omni tracks updates their units by batches so the update doesn't log jam the entire system at once. The update is coming to your unit, just a matter of time. There are still drivers at SNI who have not had the update hit their unit yet, I spoke to one yesterday.

Thats what I'm sayin. Any updates to the system has ALWAYS been a USB stick. I dont know if Knight simply just does not "pay" for or have the ablity to update over the air, but any system or log updates have always had to take my truck in and have them use a USB stick on the system. If this does hold true im breaking the fooking usb port.
Home_on_wheels Thanks this. -
I don't think that'll be enough anymore.
I can/will try it later on.Fajo Thanks this. -
Manually switch to drive time as you are sitting at the stop sign as you are exiting the property.
Problem solved.Scream'n Hauler, Drifter42, Vilhiem and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sorry guys..I meant edit my logs..lol
Vilhiem Thanks this. -
Well hot ####...
Knew I had read this elsewhere, but I didn't think of it!Pork Chop Express Thanks this. -
Depends. Some companies block that, if you're with SNI I'll try and remember to shoot you a PM when I'm back in the truck come Monday.
That said, if you're with SNI, you cannot edit drive time.Pork Chop Express Thanks this. -
They told us it will record drive time from the minute the truck first moves once we reach the threshold.........
Does anybody know the threshold?
I bet the threshold now is the truck moving.
I hate to say this bUT I'd bet all of us will need to adjust and probably book freight a little different which will over time decrease our ability to earn.Home_on_wheels, Pork Chop Express and Vilhiem Thank this. -
The threshold is still one mile to be switched to driving. However, if your wheels were rolling PRIOR to the switch happening, now the QC automatically goes back and adds in the time you moved.
So you can't cross a TS anymore and not be logged. Now you're logged after you've met the one mile threshold and it includes the time it took you to cross the TS.Last edited: Nov 21, 2015

I haven't had any "problems" since the update. All I've done differently is made sure that I put myself on drive status right before I hit the road. I haven't yet had it change any other status to driving.
