When it's an inch wider then your axles it ain't that hard? I bow to you almighty super trucker.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Lol, I hope not. In comparison to this, it isnt.
I was just following the flow of the thread. About talk of backing with OD and then some talk about fb docks came along and, well. Sorry, no comparison. -
In comparison to what? Have you been to a sheet rock plant?
-
In comparison to backing up pretty much anything else. Backing an empty flat is about as easy as it can get. I dont care how tight it is. You can see across to the far corner and know for sure what's going on.
What about an OD load and you need to back up and you can't see but maybe some small spot mirror. Even just a loaded trailer backing into a recessed dock would be a lot harder. But empty... C'mon now.Dye Guardian Thanks this. -
Why are people comparing, passing judgement, whatever you want to call it about backing skills?
Kind of juvenile right?Last edited: Nov 23, 2015
KenworthGuyNH, Highway Sailor, johndeere4020 and 1 other person Thank this. -
When it's bright out and dark in the wharehouse and you only have an inch to spare. It doesn't matter if you're an empty flat or a van that's a challenging back. Especially if you're trying not to rub your tires on the rub rail.
I've never back an od load so I have the good sense not to comment on it. I wish more people had the same sense. -
I didn't want to believe the van drivers when they said flatbed drivers can't back.

Who cares.......
